taller building acts as a marker to the entrance of Paradise Fields. Fully glazed walls to the ground floor entrance areas will provide both an active frontage and views out over Paradise. Generous balconies will provide private amenity space for all the apartments.
The building, clad in a multi red brick with precast stone, accents the facade and reflects neighbouring buildings with a modern twist. The soft landscaping around the perimeter compliments the street, enhances the footpath and the surrounding Paradise Fields.
The development will provide much needed high-quality accommodation in an area earmarked for residential use.
Paradise Fields in Hemel Hempstead is a residential development made up of 94 apartments for Bull Homes Ltd with a value of £24m. We worked with consultants DLA Town Planning and are currently awaiting planning approval.
Our challenge was to provide 72 units and a minimum of 74 parking spaces on a tight site, whilst enhancing the landscaping to draw people across from the town centre. Our solution provides a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments with associated parking, ancillary and amenity spaces.
