Roseland Park Crematorium - Latest Updates from Site
Construction at Roseland Crematorium is progressing across both the buildings and the external landscape, with a number of key milestones reached in recent weeks.
Recent highlights include:
• All glazing and doors are now in place, meaning both the crematorium and wake buildings are fully water-tight and protected, creating the right conditions for internal works to progress.
• Oak soffits have been installed to both buildings, with work also advancing on the flower court, while the gathering courtyard will follow in due course.
• Brise soleil installation has commenced, beginning to add both visual character and functional shading to the façades.
• Drylining works are well underway in both buildings. Some rooms within the crematorium have progressed further, already receiving their first mist coat of paint.
• The cremator installation is in progress; an important milestone for the project.
• Landscaping has seen significant progress, with the majority of planting now complete and areas of paving installed as part of the hard landscaping. These elements are starting to define the outdoor spaces.
• Both water features have been tanked, preparing them for their final stages of completion.
The project is advancing towards completion, with interior finishes and external works now giving form to the intended design. Progress across all areas keeps the build moving closer to delivery.
We look forward to sharing the next update as works continue.
