Planning Application Submitted for Care Home in Stoke Mandeville

We are pleased to announce the submission of a full planning application for 121 Wendover Road, Stoke Mandeville, proposing a new care home for older people on the site of an existing derelict bungalow.
The proposed development will provide 74 bedrooms, alongside 2 guest suites, with generous communal and ancillary facilities for residents and staff.
Designed to respond sensitively to the surrounding residential context, the scheme includes high-quality landscaping, generous gardens and increased biodiversity across the site. The proposals also incorporate accessible accommodation, sustainable design measures and a safe, secure environment with opportunities for passive surveillance.
The contemporary design takes influence from the local context through its scale, massing, form and material choices, while creating a positive addition to the street scene and a considerate neighbour to the surrounding homes.
