Outline Planning Submitted for Residential Scheme in Central Bedfordshire
We are pleased to confirm that an outline planning application has been submitted for a new residential development in Central Bedfordshire. Working in collaboration with Optimis Consulting and a private landowner, we have developed proposals for the creation of 141 high-quality family homes, including associated highway, attenuation measures, high-quality landscape design, large open spaces with countryside walks and play areas, and BNG measures.
Key Features of the Scheme
• 141 new-build, high-quality dwellings
• 45% affordable housing provision, 5% adaptable housing and 10% self-build plots
• Creation of children’s play spaces
• Retention of site features and increased biodiversity net gain across the site with attenuation measures and features
• High-quality landscape throughout the development with large open space provision and countryside walks
• A fully sustainable scheme with measures to reduce energy consumption.
The scheme will create a positive addition to the area, bringing much-needed high-quality housing, much-needed affordable housing, countryside walks and children’s play spaces for the new development and existing local residents.
