Exploring Mars (Right Here in Milton Keynes!)
Walk & Talk | Luke Jerram: Mars

As part of our latest Walk & Talk, we took a short walk from the office to visit Luke Jerram’s Mars, a stunning large-scale installation currently suspended in the Church of Christ the Cornerstone for the IF: Milton Keynes International Festival.

The installation features a giant, illuminated sculpture of Mars, created using detailed NASA imagery. At seven metres wide, it really is an incredible sight; suspended in the middle of the church, slowly rotating and glowing softly under the lights while a tranquil soundscape by composer Dan Jones plays in the background. The experience is peaceful, beautiful, and a little surreal, especially standing beneath it and taking in the scale of the Red Planet.

These informal Walk & Talk outings are a great way to step away from the desk, explore what’s on in Milton Keynes, and enjoy some fresh inspiration as a team.

If you’re nearby and haven’t seen it yet, it’s well worth a visit! The installation is open until Sunday 27th July.
