the trees whilst the materials are striking in their colour contrasting, long-lasting light stone finish. The building provides a large multi-faith ceremonial space for up to 200 guests and covered external waiting, memorial and flower court spaces. The three buildings and spaces of the development are linked with a long pedestrian colonnade which adds layers of transparency to the design.
Hinckley and Bosworth Crematorium was granted planning approval in early part of 2019. The site is
a low-lying plot next to the A47 north west of Hinckley. The design aims to stretch the building along the far boundary of the site to give a long and low form to the scheme, settled in against the tree line at the rear of
the site.
The front facing façade of the building is heavily
