La Malouine
La Malouine is a replacement dwelling on a coastal site residing in the Channel Islands. The new dwelling replaces a derelict bungalow with a bespoke 4-bedroom home taking inspiration from the context of the existing architecture and materiality used extensively across the islands. An open-plan entertaining space on the first-floor level maximises the stunning coastal views over the adjacent valley to the southeast, along with the master bedroom suite. The scheme consists of three additional
en-suite bedrooms, a reception room, a boot room and a shower room are provided on the ground floor level focused around a central feature entrance and hallway.
In addition the annexe takes design inspiration from the main house, again utilising local materials and provides an additional 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and central kitchen, dining and living area.
