Planning Approved at Action4Youth

We are very excited to announce that our design for the Action4Youth centre has received full planning permission. The design consists of minor internal demolitions and external facade alterations, a larger dining room/hall to accommodate an increased capacity of approximately 200 people, and an improved sense of arrival and provision for a better entrance space. The overall aim of this scheme is to be more in line with the charities developing brand identity.

The external alterations will be constructed from timber panels of various sizes and lengths and the design will bring a new lease of life to the existing building. It is an opportunity to rebrand the building in line with the exciting youthful aspirations of the charity and can reflect both the lively activities but also the environmental and sustainability credentials. The new screening of the building will help to announce the entrance, improve the sense of arrival for groups and appeal to the target young people and groups.

This scheme will give a new fresh appearance to the building whilst not having any negative impact on the surrounding area. The new floor space is minimal and will not impact the existing landscape. We are very happy with this outcome, and it’s been a pleasure working with Action4Youth. Keep an eye out for regular updates.
