Benchmark Architects have been commissioned for a new build private family home on a beautiful Channel Island.
The project is on an idyllic site nestled in a valley plot with stunning views looking out to the sea and across open countryside.  We have been working closely with our client to find a solution which not only provides the accommodation but also the wow factor required.

This Bespoke Home will include: 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, reception rooms, utility and boot room, a wrap around terrace to maximise views and access to the surrounding garden and landscape.  The master bedroom suite includes a generous dressing room and twin ensuite and the main living space is vaulted and combines the living, dining and kitchen area adjacent to the terraces.

The external design uses locally sourced rough cut stonework, which features smooth stone window surrounds and vertical timber cladding that helps the new building to settle into the natural landscape.

Local approvals are now in place, and we are expecting the project to start on site in the coming months.  We are currently developing technical drawings and specification for the build, and we hope to reveal the final design soon.
