We are proud to say that planning has now been submitted for a new Crematorium on the A47 Leicester Road, between Hinckley and Earl Shilton. It’s been great working in conjunction with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Cemetery Development Services Ltd and MAC Consulting on this exciting project.

With the nearest available crematorium currently located in Nuneaton, the proposed crematorium development could provide an alternative affordable cremation facility with reduced waiting times for services and reduced traveling times for Hinckley and Bosworth residents.

The crematorium building will accommodate a flexible multi-faith hall for approximately 200
people and the associated crematory facility. Parking will be provided for approximately 135 cars. A separate building will accommodate staff and waiting areas, which will be linked by a series of covered walkways and external spaces. In addition, the creation of a flower court, memorial wall and book of remembrance will be located along a series of pathways throughout the site. Sensitive landscaping features include a wild flower garden and attenuation ponds.
