Luton Planning Committee Clean Sweep

Last Wednesday evening two of our residential led projects were awarded planning consent unanimously at Committee in Luton.  It is a testament to working with talented council case officers and clients who are willing to engage in a proactive way.

Rothesay Road is a 36 apartment development for private sale over 5 floors on the edge of the conservation area, and Waller Avenue is 342 dwellings including flats and houses and almost 2000sqm of commercial employment space.  This committee decision represents our largest development project consent to date at Benchmark Architects of 300,000 sqft floor area. We are now gearing up on both projects to develop technical drawings and hope to follow them into construction stage in the coming months.
