Exciting, Fresh Developments Popping Up around Bedfordshire

We are currently working on a number of developments bringing a fresh new quality to the county, by optimising tired old sites that are no longer fit for purpose.

We have just been awarded planning for an existing car showroom to make way for a mixed-use development of 5 new flats and 160sqm of retail space in the historic town centre of Potton, Bedfordshire. Currently out to tender and due to start on site this Autumn.

In Luton we have a hillside site, which offers great views across Wardown Park and out towards the Chiltern Hills. So, our design prioritised this as the focal point. The development of 2 no. 3 bed homes just North of the centre of Luton makes the most of the steep gradient of the site by sinking the parking and utility spaces into the ground with a 2-storey house visible above. This project is at planning stage and is due for a decision at the end of the month.

An empty newsagents/post office in Stopsley, North Luton provides the site for our proposed mixed-use scheme within a District Centre. Whilst retaining a small portion of the retail to increase its appeal, the development will also provide 4 no. 2 bed duplex flats with off-street parking and amenity space and 1 no. 2 bed flat above the retail. This project is in for planning and will be receiving a decision in Summer 2020.
