The Aylesbury Mausoleum project is a new build mausoleum utilising a new innovative product from an Italian manufacturer. The appointment was to design the arrangement of the mausoleum crypts and the creation of a new sheltered and focused space for mourners. The mausoleum is set out on a gentle curve to create a soft enclosure focused around a central memorial garden.

The folded copper clad feature roof is supported on an independent steel frame structure, between which the marble clad crypts are arranged three high and can be customised and decorated. The roof is cantilevered and creates a sheltered and intimate space for mourners and visitors.
