Plans have been submitted for the full planning permission for minor internal demolitions and external facade alterations. The design provides a larger dining room/hall to accommodate an increased capacity of approximately 200 people, an improved sense of arrival and provision for a better entrance space. In addition, the demolition and alterations overall aim is to be more in-line with the charities developing brand identity.

The external alterations will be constructed from timber panels of various sizes and lengths. The application of the charity’s logo will help add to the rebranded identity of the organisation as well as implement the charity’s colour through the entrance reveal and pathway indicators. 

The design provides significant benefits to the surrounding community and hopes to continue to attract individuals that may be interested in the vast amount of indoor & outdoor activities the charity has to offer. It also gives a new fresh appearance to the building whilst not having any negative impact on the surrounding area. The new floor space is minimal and will not impact on the existing landscape.
